Dance with the Gospel
Dance and Music from the Heart

"Dance According to the Gospel"
('A Journey to the Crucifixion')
(Performances during Easter Week)

For eleven exciting seasons, LEDT toured its original production of "A Dance Journey to the Crucifixion." Now, using a similar concept, LEDT brings a powerful new work, "Dance According to the Gospel."

It is a dance presentation that tells the story of Jesus' journey to the crucifixion. It is based on Scriptures from the Bible performed to Christian and Gospel music, including Spirituals.

"Dance and Music from the Heart"

Combining the talents and selections of local New Orleans composers/arrangers, Moses Hogan and Irvin Mayfield, along with the extraordinary voice of Lady BJ Crosby, this program melds the worlds of dance and music like no other. After all, dancing does come from the heart!
